Joshua Tree Astronomy Arts Theater was established in 2009. After doing astronomy shows in Joshua Tree National Park for a couple years we decided we needed a permanent home. The Theater is the home of the Southern California Desert Video Astronomers, who provide the telescopes and projections you will see at our events. We are an open air outdoor venue. We are located on the grounds of the Joshua Tree Lake RV & Campground.

The Theater is also the home of the Black Hole Collection of Fine Art which is featured on occasion during events. The art is themed on space, astronomy and environmental issues.

We push for dark skies and saving the planet for future generations.
